2011 Africa Trip
On June 4th, 2011 Jeff and eight members of his family traveled to South Africa for the Hoss Foundation to begin its first international mission work. While there the Hoss Foundation visited Pfunanane School and home for children grades K-7th. Pfunanane Academy strives to give children the highest standard of Christian education possible. The school is a place for disadvantaged children and orphans to join other children in a healthy and non-stigmatizing classroom environment, where they receive special attention and care, along with a quality Bible-based education. The Hostetler family teamed up with staff from the school to help provide the man power to begin a new 4th grade classroom. We began by hand mixing and laying concrete for the floors, it was a lot of hard work but extremely enjoyable. We also had time to interact with the children and play soccer, Frisbee, as well as teach them how to throw (American) Football. Please check out the pictures below!
