The Hoss Foundation would like to give everyone some Information on our largest project. The Gift Project takes place in early December during the Christmas and holiday season to help bring a little love, hope, and joy by providing gifts, food, and fellowship to local children and families facing financial hardships.

  1. Total cost is approximately $75,000-$80,000 and increasing each year.
  2. We provide assistance to approximately 1,000 individuals and over 400 being children.
  3. Over 600 individuals volunteered with shopping, wrapping, and delivering over 7,500 gifts
  4. We partnered with several local agencies including Bartlett House, Caritas House, Mountaineer Boys and Girls Club, Presley Ridge, Ronald McDonald House, Mental Health America of Monongalia County and the United Way to provide gifts for their clients.
  5. We also host a Christmas party with dinner and fellowship to the residents of the Barlett House and Bretz Community.

The Hoss Foundation is in the process of implementing new dimensions of hope and healing to assist families and/or children in the community. We are asking you to team with the Hoss Foundation and be an Impact Player by donating to the cause. Help us make a difference in our community!

Each year more and more families in North Central West Virginia, have a hard time making ends meet around the Christmas season. This can turn what should be a season of hope into very dark time of the year. The Hoss Foundation GIFT Project wants to do something about that, but we need your help to reach more families.

One way that you can help is through the donation of your time and talents.  Click the Get In The Game link at the top of the screen.

Another way that you can help is through financial contributions. The majority of Hoss Foundation funding comes from a charitable trust established by Jeff and Vicky Hostetler. Your contribution will be added to theirs to help the Hoss Foundation reach an even wider number of families.
