1961 Born April 22. Grew up a Mennonite farm boy in Holsopple, PA Was one of seven children
1979-1980 Played for Penn State
1981 Transferred to West Virginia University (WVU)
1982–83
Played starting quarterback at WVU 
Nominated for Rhodes Scholarship

Drafted by New York Giants
Married Vicki Nehlen on May 26
1985 Jason Hostetler is born with pulmonary stenosis, a life-threatening heart condition
1991 Helped lead Giants to 20–19 victory over Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXV
1991 Began to fund Hoss Foundation (HF)
Early 1990s First adoption finalized with assistance from HF funding
1993–96 Played starting quarterback for Los Angeles Raiders. Voted to Pro Bowl in 1994.
1997–98 Played with Washington Redskins
Late 90s
Worked with local churches and organizations in Morgantown, WV. This effort included giving gifts, stocking food pantries, donating to rape-and-domestic-violence centers, and helping individuals in need.
1999
Youngest son Tyler suffered from broken neck in ATV accident.

Completed first home renovation after being inspired by Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
2005–2006 Began working with Walmart to facilitate the Gift Project

Gift Project: 700+ volunteers; 575+ individual gift recipients; 5000+ gifts purchased, wrapped, and delivered; worked with 12 local charitable organizations
Cleaned up Bretz Community Center (e.g., sanded, painted, and finished out)
Made first visit to senior care centers
